Then there it was SNOW. EVERYWHERE!!! EEEEEP! I was like a kid in a candy store!! It was beautiful. I hopped out the truck and started walking out as fast as I could out and of course first thing I did was slip a little. Oh yeah I need crutches, of course! I got so excited I forgot about those darn things. So I hopped to the prettiest place I can find and sat right there to snap pictures and watch the Hubbs, Sister and Dad throw snow balls at each other. Sigh...I wish I could play with them. So I keep snapping pictures. Sigh...I wish Miriam (oldest sister) and my little Lentil were here too (he was sick so couldn't come to the snow). Keep snapping pictures.
Then after a couple hours and them getting tired of throwing snow balls at each other we decided to start driving back down a different way then we had drove up to get some of the famous and delicious Moms Julian Apple Pie. Yum! We got our pie and kept driving down and found a spot we didn't know was there and it was so pretty, no snow but it was just as beautiful. I will definitely come back up to this place when I'm not on crutches to be able to climb up the rocks and sit and relax and think or not think. Just to sit and enjoy. Thanks Dad for making me extremely happy by bringing me to the snow!
So here are a few pictures I took up there and a couple the Hubbs took of my chubby self and my family. I hope you enjoy!
This is a picture the Hubbs snapped of me, don't mind the branch across my face or my messy hair!
