They Asked For A Daughter And Were Sent A Princess

After two adorable boys, Carlos and Jessica felt like they weren't exactly complete just yet. They wanted a little baby girl more then anything to complete their little family. Soon enough Jessica was expecting and although they would love their new addition regardless if it was a boy or girl, they hoped it was a baby girl. The day they found out the gender of their baby couldn't come soon enough. When the day finally arrived, they found out they were having a GIRL! They couldn't be happier with the news. For the next couple months they were busy getting everything ready for their baby girls arrival. Then their princess Kassandra finally arrived in September and she was cuter then ever. Definitely a princess. So here are some pictures I shot of her in November, see for yourself  what an adorable princess she is!

First pose of the night

 First outfit shoes! Too cute!!

Isn't she adorable?

Did she win your heart over yet? She got mine!

Already such a fashion model!

Second day outfit

Second outfit of the day

I want to end her pictures with one of my favorite shots of her, she was wearing ballerina slippers with her second outfit of the day...ballerina slippers!!! I love this baby girl!

These are a few shots that I got on our way back home from Kassandra's photo shoot. I looove snow so of course I had to stop and snap some pictures!

I need to move where there's lots of snow, like all the time!

There is no snow on this one but its a train!!! Trains remind me of like the movie The Notebook, not that there are trains in that movie or anything but still it reminds me of it...don't judge!

Thanks for stopping by, Lotsa' Love, Claudia!

Random Thoughts

Just thought I would post about some random thoughts I have floating around my weird little head.

Have you ever wondered what you would do if one day you got a call, not just a call but THE CALL, like a call from a Doctor (not sure if I'm supposed to capitalize Doctor but I did) telling you not so good news, news like you only have a certain amount of time to live or you have a disease only 2 out of 20,000 people have and you just happen to be one of the 2? Would you run to the nearest 7-11 and buy a lotto ticket because if you are one of the 2 people that has this disease then gosh darnit you just might be lucky enough to be the next millionaire? Would you want to just close your eyes and go back in time, like when you were so small and something bad happened to you and you always had a bigger bed to crawl into? Would you look back in time and smile because you are content with how you have lived your life?

Would you sit there and start a list of things you would like to do before your time comes? And would you actually do the things on your list? Would you start going back in time and remember when you were little and all you cared about was playing with your sisters and friends? Or where you would hide at lunch time so you would not have to share with your big sis the big piece of chocolate cake Mom had baked and hot chocolate she had given you to share? Would you think of all the meaningless fights you had with your sisters? Would you think of all the horrible things you have put your parents through?

Would you think of everyone that has been there for you all your life? Would you think of how you have never told your Mom just how much you love her? How she means the world to you and she is the most beautiful caring mother anyone can ask for? Would you thank her for always putting you before herself? Would you? How about your Dad? Would you thank him for also going out of his way to help you with anything and everything you need? For spoiling you like no other? Would you apologize for making him have a full head of grey hair at like 30? Would you also tell him how much you love him?

What about your sisters? Would you tell your big sister how much she means to you? Tell her just how much you love her? How you are thankful for having her as a big sister? Thank her for being the nicest sister you can ever ask for? Thank her for making you the happiest girl in the world for making you an auntie and giving you the most adorable nephew ever? Would you thank her for always making you laugh from her blurting out the most random questions at the most random times? Would you tell her how much you missed her when she got married and moved out? Would you tell her how you wanted to move into her room when she left because it smelled like her and you felt as if she was still with you even though she was not? Or how about your first brother in law? Would you thank him for sticking around no matter what when dating your sister even though you were mean to him for trying to take her away from you? Would you tell him thank you for being like the brother you never had and always wanted? Would you thank him for introducing you to the best Mexican food places in San Diego? Would you also thank him for making you an auntie? Would you tell him how much he means to you too?

How about your little sister? Would you first of all tell her sorry for all the mean things you ever did to her? For picking on her for being the little one? Would you thank her for always being so patient? For always being so happy no matter what? Thank her for always finishing your sentences because you are always thinking the same things? Would you apologize to her for not spending as much time with her as you should have? Would you tell her thank you for always busting out with the weirdest dance moves at ALL times? Would you tell her you love her so much? Or her husband? Would you thank him for making your little sister happy? Thank him for spoiling her rotten? Thank him for being your most faithful blog reader and also how much he means to you too? How he is like your little brother?

How about your precious nephew? How would you begin with him? Would you tell him? Would he remember you when your gone? Would he remember how you loved him like no other? Or apologize to him for how in his year of life you took thousands of pictures of him and probably being the reason why he will always see little stars from your camera flash? Would you tell him to always be good to his parents and grandparents because they are the most precious treasure he will ever have? Would you apologize for not being able to be there with him in his first day of Kindergarten, when he graduates from Middle School, his High School graduation or when he is taking off for College to become a Doctor? Would you apologize for not being able to be there for him when he gets his heart broken for the first time, or when kids are being mean to him or on his wedding day? Would you thank him for making you the happiest girl in the world when he was born? Would you thank him for making you feel the closest to ever being a mom? Would you tell him how he means the world to you and you would give anything for his happiness and you just LOVE him more then you ever thought imaginable?

And last but not least The Hubbs. How would you start with him? How would you start thanking him for everything he has done for you? Would you apologize for not being the wife he deserved? For not learning how to cook for him? For not always being the nicest person to him even though he always treated you like a princess? Would you thank him for always looking after you and for sticking to his vows of sticking with you through sickness and in health? Would you tell him how even though you never expressed it as much your love for him is stronger now than ever? Would you thank him for putting up with your bratty ways? Would you thank him for not running away from you when he saw that the hospital was your second home? Would you tell him that if you could go back in time you would still always choose him as your hubbs because he makes you the happiest girl in the world and always manages to make you smile? I would.

These are thoughts floating around my head, thought I would share them with you! Pretty random right? I know, and if you actually read this whole blog post...wow thank you, if you leave me a comment maybe I'll dedicate my next blog to you! Ha! And because this post is so random I thought I would post a random picture I had in my camera from a day I was in my parents back yard snapping random pictures. Enjoy. Lotsa' Love, Claudia!

The moon was out hanging out in the bright blue sky, pretty random right? I didnt photo shop this at all, that was the actual color of the sky, I only had to do some extra zooming in, doesn't it look so cool? It looks so pretty!!

Taking Things For Granted

I'm not exactly sure how the saying goes but i believe it goes something like this: "You never know what you have until it is gone." Well I haven't lost anything but I do feel like I have been taking something for granted and I am am here today to confess to this. I have lived in San Diego pretty much all my life and I have never been to any of the top tourist destinations. There I said it. I feel so much better now. I know the saying is more for like say taking people for granted but I feel this also applies to me and San Diego. That makes sense right? No? Half the time I don't make sense anyway so its okay, you can tell me I'm weird. Its just that I feel like, where I live is a place that people around the world come visit every year and or one day would like to visit it and I live here and while I do love living here and would never dream of living anywhere else unless its Hawaii, then i would move...maybe. But as I was saying, I live in this gorgeous place and I have never actually been to the places we have to offer, besides like a couple of our beaches and our zoos, that's it. I have never really thought about it until one day the hubbs brought this to my attention. So I sat there thinking what a horrible San Diegan (not sure if that's even a word) I am, then I opened up my laptop and started looking up all the places to visit in San Diego and found one so close to my house  that I have never visited before, BINGO!

After I found the first place to visit, I sat there for hours looking at all the other different places I need to visit. I came up with a list of places, and I am extremely excited to visit all these places. Now I will be happy to know that yes I live in San Diego and I am not taking living here for granted, I am enjoying it to the fullest! I am proud to say that the very next day I came up with this list we decided to visit the San Diego Birch Aquarium, and of course I brought my models along with me for some picture taking! Now I have one place checked off my list and I cant wait to visit the other exciting places. So with that said here are some pictures I took on my field trip!

A day at Campo Fire Department - San Diego

"Sooooo, what are you doing this weekend?" asks my sister Miriam in an email, "Same thing I do every weekend, try and take over the world!" was my reply, okay maybe I didn't answer that but I can tell you that's exactly what I was thinking! So she asks me if I could take some pictures of my little precious Lentil as he visits his daddy's at the Fire Station for the first time in his little life and of course I said yes, one because how can I not want to take pictures of my precious Lentil, and two well duh, why wouldn't I if he is my little model! So off we went to the most adorable day ever, it turned out to be great, it didn't matter to me that I got extremely nauseous on the way there from the crazy road there, as soon as I saw my little Lentils face when he saw his daddy and fire trucks and having his beautiful mommy there, all my nauseous feelings went right away! So here are some pictures I took that day. Enjoy!
